In Belgium, this radio spot announces the dead of the road in real time

The radio spots can still be a powerful communication and awareness tool. If in addition we couple the radio spots with the data in real time, we can imagine highly effective campaigns... like the one we are going to present to you today.

In Belgium, the association Parents of Road Victims helps and accompanies parents who have lost their child as a result ofa road accident. Accidents are decreasing, fortunately in Belgiumwith avec 640 deceased people in 2016. But even if this figure is down, there are still victims behind these numbers and statistics that break the lives of families. More than ever, it is therefore important to act for reduce this statistic.

In collaboration with the agency Happiness Brussels, the association Parents of Road Victims imagined an awareness operation very simple but extremely powerful. In collaboration with five radio stations, the association imagined a spot that connects directly to police services data. Thus, every time a person dies as a result of a road accident, a spot is broadcast on partner radios to warn listeners and raise awareness.

A simple but powerful way to remember that behind statistics and numbers that are falling, there are still people who lose their lives ... and families who break up.
